Infill

Infill Top-Off.Fresh infill where it has thinned.

Thin infill changes how turf walks, drains, and holds the blades. We check the surface and quote top-off only where it helps.

What is included

The full visit, step by step.

  • Infill depth and wear inspection
  • Spot top-off recommendation where the material has migrated
  • Power brooming to distribute fresh infill
  • Separate quote before any added material is applied
When it fits

Best for turf that needs more than a rinse.

  • Older turf with low spots or thin-feeling sections

  • High-traffic paths where blades do not stand up

  • Yards that need cushion restored after a deep clean

Field note

Infill should be quoted carefully.

This page stays careful because infill is not something to sell automatically. Thin spots can affect cushion, drainage, and how blades stand, but not every tired yard needs material added. We check the surface first and separate infill from the cleaning quote when it is actually useful.

Infill does three things in artificial turf: it weights the backing down so the surface stays put, it supports the blades so they stand upright, and it cushions footfall so the surface walks comfortably. Over time infill migrates. Foot traffic, pet activity, hosing, and wind move material to the low spots and thin out the high-traffic zones. When that happens the blades lay over more easily, drainage changes, and the turf can feel hard underfoot.

Adding infill is straightforward but only worth doing where the wear is real. We measure infill depth in a few representative spots before quoting. If the surface is just dust-loaded and matted, a deep clean plus power brooming usually restores the feel without adding material. If the depth is actually low, we quote the infill separately so you see the line item rather than getting one bundled price. The brushing pass after material is added distributes it evenly so the yard does not look patchy.

What helps us quote infill
  • Close photos of low or thin areas
  • Age and type of turf if known
  • Whether the surface feels hard underfoot
  • Areas where blades will not stand after brushing
  • Drainage changes after rinses or rain
  • Whether this is residential, HOA, or commercial use
